Rajinikanth discharged from hospital

Actor Rajinikanth who was admitted to hospital due to severe hypertension, exhaustion and severe fluctuations in his blood pressure on December 25th has been discharged after taking treatment for a couple of days. The actor’s blood pressure stabilised and was feeling better. Since his medical condition improved, he was discharged. A bulletin from the Apollo Hospitals at Hyderabad where he was admitted advised him to take complete bed rest for a period of one week with minimal physical activity and zero stress.
He was also advised to avoid any activity that increases the risk to contract the ongoing coronavirus. The 70 year old actor is expected to make an announcement regarding the launch of his political party on December 31st. He has been prescribed medication and has been asked to remain on diet. His blood pressure also has to be monitored at regular intervals. He is planning to fly back to Chennai from Hyderabad where the shooting of the film Annatthai was going on. The movie is being produced by Sun Pictures and is directed by Siva. Shooting for the film commenced a day after the actor’s birthday on December 12th in Hyderabad but had to be abruptly stopped after a 10 day schedule as four crew members tested positive for Covid 19.
