Superstar Rajinikanth recently met his elder brother at Bengaluru and sought his blessings before taking the political plunge. The pictures of Rajinikanth bowing in front of his brother Satyanarayana Rao with folded hands are doing the rounds on social media. His entry into politics has been long awaited. Only a few months are left for the state elections in Tamilnadu. Earlier in the month, Rajini had made an announcement that he would float his own political party sometime in the beginning of January 2021.
He said that he would start campaigning on a war footing.Many felt that he would not take the risk of campaigning in the midst of the ongoing pandemic but Rajini clearly stated that he would form a political party and contest the elections from all the seats of Tamilnadu. However, he will finish his film commitments before that. The shooting for the film Annatthe, written and directed by Siva is 40 percent over.The remaining parts are yet to be shot. He plans to complete the shooting before jumping into the political fray.
