Chennai Citi Centre hosted the city’s biggest dog show ever ‘RAISE YOUR PAW’, with more than 60 dogs and puppies of different breeds participated and had a fun-filled day-out. The event featured a colorful Pageant of all breeds and demonstrating Obedience, Agility, Fun with Handlers, Retrieving and Health and Wellness. A Bull-mustang named “Royden” was selected as the winner and a Husky named “Tango” was selected as the Runner. Actress Yashika Anand and Akshara Reddy, Miss Super Globe 2019 was invited as the chief guest and they awarded winners and participants with trophies and treats.
The main aim of this event was to create awareness about Indian bred dogs and to educate the current and future generations to show kindness to all animals. Dr. Ayyappan, Veterinary Orthopaedic specialist, M.VSc, Ph.D., Postdoc (USA) and Dr. Saranya B.V.Sc & A.H Veterinary Officer MSPCA, Chennai spoke about animal care and what are the do’s and don’ts should be followed by a pet parent.
