Aishwarya Rai, the daughter- in – law of former Chief Minister Rabri Devi has filed a complaint against her mother- in – law accusing her of physical assault and domestic violence.
The incident took place when Aishwarya had gone to inform her mother -in – law that her son Tej Pratap’ s supporters were putting up posters to defame her family. She requested for removal of those posters which were pasted on the walls of the University campus. Instead of doing so, she alleged that Rabri Devi pulled her hair, abused her and threw her out of the house. She also alleged that she was beaten up. Aishwarya then filed a written complaint against Rabri Devi accusing her of harassment and physical torture
