Queen Elizabeth ll has invited Prince Harry for face to face talks to discuss future roles for him and wife Meghan. This follows an announcement from Harry and Meghan that they wished to step back from royal duties. While Prince Harry, Prince William and Prince Charles have been invited to a meeting to be held at the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, Meghan is expected to join the discussion over the phone from Canada where she is currently based with son Archie.
The meeting will decide the future roles of Prince Harry and his wife and if they get to retain the royal title of Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The meeting would also decide how much official royal work that Harry and Meghan would do in the UK and overseas on behalf of the royal family. Even the amount of money that they will receive from the Queen and Prince Charles after their sovereign grant public funding is cut will be discussed at the meeting to be presided over by the 93 year old Queen.
