Amazon Prime Video recently announced its first Tamil anthology film titled Putham Pudhu Kaalai. Suhasini Maniratnam, Rajiv Menon, Gautham Menon, Karthik Subbaraj, and Sudha Kongara Prasad have joined hands for this anthology and it will stream from October 16. Now director Mani Ratnam and composer AR Rahman released the film’s first look and trailer.
The two-minute-long trailer starts with the announcement of a 21-day lockdown in India. The five stories deal with different relationships and how they make it through the lockdown. Hope, love, marriage, new beginnings, second chances, and relationships are the themes of these stories.
Shruti Haasan, Anu Haasan, Andrea Jeremiah, Sikkhil Gurucharan, Jayaram, Urvashi, Kalidas Jayaram, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Ritu Varma, MS Bhaskar and Bobby Simhaa are part of the cast of Putham Pudhu Kaalai.
