Prost Brew Pub opened India’s highest and first-hand crafted brewery at WhiteField in Bengaluru recently. The Brewery is at an altitude of 3144 ft (from sea level). Talk of getting a happy “high” and you can have it here. Literally!
Ambience: Spread across 24,000 sft, the rooftop brewery can accommodate up to 1200 people with a feel of the city right under your feet. It is also India’s First-Hand Painted Brewery. Another thing you can’t miss is the skybridge that gives you a panoramic view of Whitefield with an unobstructed view. The vibrant light and forest themed interiors are based on the theme of “The Lost City”, where a gang of monkeys are brewing great beers while doing something exciting and zany.
Food: For appetisers, we recommend the Tandoori Prawns, prawns marinated in spices and roasted in tandoor. Seafood lovers will also like the Prost Prawns, a signature dish of smoked bacon wrapped prawns served with wasabi mayo. Vegetarians can try the Relleno Magic Mushroom, button mushrooms stuffed, marinated in Indian spices or the Corn and Cheese Cigar Rolls, deep fried corn and cheese stuffed wonton rolls with spicy mayo. Prost Pizzas are also a mouthful. Crispy and filled with tasty toppings, these slices are certainly going to increase your happiness quotient. Fish lovers must call for the Grilled fish with lemon olive oil, a grilled fish marinated with mustard and lemon olive dressing.
Drinks: The eight different craft beers served here – Burnt Stone, Red Alert, Bangalore Bolt, Rider Cider, Rocky Road, Lit Bae, Prost Brewers Special and Fly High are all full of flavours with recognised Malts and Hops. The texture, colour and taste of these beers are outstanding.
