Princess Reema has been appointed as Saudi Arabia’s new Ambassador to the United States. It is the first time that a woman has been appointed to such a post. She will replace Prince Khaled Bin Salman a son of king Salman who took the post in 2017.
She is the daughter of Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, a towering figure in Saudi diplomacy. He was so close to the Bush family that he was always referred to as’ Bandar Bush’. Princess Reema spent many years in Washington while her father was Ambassador and she graduated with a degree in Museum studies from the George Washington University. Recently she served in the kingdoms sports Commission.
