Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales has undergone an abdominal surgery and will remain in hospital for the next 2 weeks. The surgery on the 42 year old Princess was planned and successful. She will recuperate at her home in Windsor after discharge from the hospital and will not return to public duties till Easter.
Kate underwent surgery at the London Clinic and wishes and hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normalcy for her children as possible.
Kensington Palace will provide updates on her health only as and when necessary. Princess Kate apologised to all concerned as she had to postpone all her upcoming engagements. Prince William is also likely to postpone public duties to support wife Kate and take care of their 3 children.
