Princess Salma of Jordan created history by becoming the first female pilot to serve the country. Princess Salma is the daughter of King Abdullah ll and Queen Rania. The 18 year old passed both the theoritical and practical pilot training with the Jordanian Armed Forces on fixed wing aircraft. The princess got her wings from her father at a ceremony held at Ammans Al Husseiniya Palace.
The ceremony was attended by the Queen, the Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah ll, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and pilots of the aviation wing. Her brother wrote a congratulatory message on Instagram about his brilliant and hard-working sister and posted her photo.
