Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had recently appeared in an interview with Oprah Winfrey where they had made certain racist allegations against the Royal Family. On hearing these allegations, Prince William is furious about it. He is also concerned about Kate being dragged into this issue unnecessarily. Reports state that even Prince Charles is upset over the interview as he is proud of the diversity in the UK. He believes that his country owes a huge debt of gratitude to the rich diversity of cultures that make up their society. Both he and William have spoken about racism and mental health and for them to be accused of being racist is deeply upsetting and wrong.
Harry had emailed his father to justify his stand at the interview and Prince Charles is said to be in a state of despair. Prince Harry said that a lot of hurt happened between him and his father and that his father even refused to take his calls during the Megxit drama. He further stated that he loves his brother William, that he will always love him, that they have been through hell together but their relationship needed space at the moment. He is hopeful that time will heal everything.
