Prince Harry along with his wife Meghan Markle visited the Freedom Tower and the 9/11 Memorial in New York. They went on a tour of the observatory on the 100th and 102nd floor of the One World Trade Center along with the Governor of New York Kathy Hochul and the City Mayor Bill de Blasio.
Both Harry and Meghan were dressed in somber, dark coloured clothes. They also inspected the reflecting pools situated where the Twin Towers stood before the attacks on September 11,.2001.
The couple met up with the United States ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas Greenfield. They discussed matters right from racial injustice to mental health awareness and Covid -19 too.
They will be taking the stage at Global Citizen Live in New York’s Central Park on the 25th. Global Citizen Live is a series of concerts being held around the world to raise awareness on famine, climate change and vaccine equality.
