Popular Tamil actor Ponnambalam has joined the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday. Ponnambalam has played negative roles in many films. Before getting into acting, he started his career as a stuntman. Ponnambalam was a member of the AIADMK. He also made a comment on AIADMK stating that the party no longer maintains the discipline that was upheld by former Chief Ministers M.G. Ramachandran and J. Jayalalithaa.
