The news of Abi or Abi ikka as he was fondly called, came as a rude shock to many in the Mollywood industry. He was a popular comedian and a well known mimicry artist. The 52 year old actor had done some memorable roles in Mollywood flicks like Aniyathipraavu, Mazhavil Koodaram and Kireedamillatha Rajakkanmar and Mimics Action 500. His son, Shane Nigam is following his footsteps as an actor and he has done some notable roles in movies like Kismat and C/O Saira Banu.
