A police constable in Madhya Pradesh saved the life of a snake by giving it CPR after it became immobile when it consumed water laced with pesticide. The snake regained consciousness and was saved.

A video of this is being circulated in social media and many netizens have praised the constable for his bravery. The constable named Atul Sharma is a ”self taught snake rescuer” who has saved around 500 snakes in the past 15 years. He said that he closely watches Discovery Channel and learned how to save snakes.
The viral video from Narmadapuram in Madhya Pradesh shows the snake entering a pipeline in a residential colony and as the residents could not remove the snake, they poured water laced with pesticides down the pipe and then called the police. Constable Atul Sharma swung into action and caught the snake and saved its life after blowing into its mouth. The crowd cheered on seeing the snake moving after that.
