India has reported over 1 lakh recoveries from coronavirus in a single day as announced by the health ministry officials. This takes the tally of the country’s recovery rate to 80.86%.
There are 9,75,861 active coronavirus cases in the country as on date. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a high level virtual meeting with 7 Chief Ministers of the badly hit states to discuss about the Covid 19 situation. The states are Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Delhi and Punjab. These states have 63% of active coronavirus cases. The Centre has so far been leading the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in active collaboration with both the Central and State governments.
