Prime Minister inaugurated five new projects while in Kochi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Kochi on Sunday dedicated five new projects to the nation, namely the Propylene Derivative Petrochemical Project of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), the Ro-Ro vessels to be operated between Bolghatty and Willingdon Island and the state of the art ‘Sagarika International Cruise Terminal’. He also laid the foundation stone for the South Coal Berth in Cochin Port apart from inaugurating the Marine Engineering Training Institute within the Cochin Shipyard, a first in the country which is within a Shipyard that offers training facilities for trainees on various vessels under construction or repair. He said all these projects would go a long way towards making an ‘Athmanirbhar Bharath’.
