Plane crashes into California homes

A plane crashed into a residential locality of California leaving 2 people dead due to a fire that engulfed a couple of houses and several vehicles.
The incident took place in Santee, a suburb of San Diego. The plane was a twin-engine Cessna 340, a six seater aircraft that took off from Yuma Arizona an hour before it crashed.
Aerial footage shows firefighters hosing down the charred remains of the residences. There was however no sign of the remnants of the plane from the aerial footage.


According to fire officials at least two people lost their lives and two people were hurt due to the accident. Neighbours said that they heard the whine of the plane and a loud sound as it crashed. They rushed towards the burning buildings and helped people with burns to get out. It is not known how many people were in the plane.
