Petition Signed Not To Cast Caprio In Rumi

Over thousands of people have signed a petition to remove Leonardo Dicaprio as the lead for the upcoming movie on Rumi.“Casting Leonardo DiCaprio as Rumi rewrites history, takes possession of Muslim accomplishments and gives the credit to a white man,” said Valerie Janovic, a person who set up the petition. The people want the movie to star a muslim actor.
