Passenger who fell overboard from a Royal Carribbean cruise ship rescued

A 42 year old woman who was travelling on board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship fell overboard from the 10th deck was saved after a hour long rescue. This chaotic incident left the other travellers tense.

The woman, a US citizen, was travelling in the ship bound for the island of Curacao. After the woman fell overboard, cruise crew members launched a rescue boat to search for the woman. After a 45 minute ordeal, they managed to find her and brought her safely back to the cruise ship. The whole ship cheered for her after she was rescued.
She was said to be in good health and was taken to the ship’s medical facility and later transferred to a hospital in Willemstad, Curacao.
The US Coast Guard is investigating the circumstances that caused the woman to go overboard. The ship was said to be around 27 nautical miles south of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic when this incident took place.
