A.Asokan the lawyer of VK Sasikala denied allegations that she was given VIP treatment in a prison in Bengaluru.He said that she was serving a simple imprisonment for a period of 4 years and she was permitted to wear personal clothes as per the provisions of the Karnataka Prison Manual.
She was also allowed to have biscuits and fruits that was screened at different levels by security personnel and this too was permitted in the manual. Facilities like television were available to all prisoners and not only to Sasikala. All the other allegations are contrary to truth said her lawyer Asokan.
