The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a review petition against its majority judgement which lifted the ban on entry of women between 10 and 50 into Sabarimala.
The review petition will be heard by an appropriate bench in open court on January 22nd 2019. The Court however refused to stay the judgement. This implies that women of all ages can undertake the pilgrimage when the temple reopens on November 16 for Mandala Pooja. The Kerala government and the Sangh Parivar outfits were satisfied with the decision given by the court.
