Malayalam actress Nivetha Thomas who was last seen in Kamal Haasan’s Paapanasam has concentrated more on Telegu films post-2015. Recent reports state that the actress will be seen next in Rajnikanth’s next and will be portraying the role of his daughter. For this film, Rajinikanth has teamed up with director AR Murugadoss. The director and his team have approached the young actress for the same. An official confirmation on the same is yet to be made by the production house.
Recently, the makers conducted a photo shoot with Superstar Rajinikanth and he is said to be playing the role of a cop in the film.
The photoshoot stills have been leaked by some miscreants and are doing the rounds on social media. It has been a long time since the audience saw Rajinikanth donning the khaki. The shooting of Thalaivar 167 is expected to commence on April 10 in Chennai. It was earlier reported that the shooting was supposed to have begun sometime in March, but got delayed due to unavoidable reasons. Lady Superstar Nayanthara is rumored to be roped in as the heroine for Superstar. The technical crew of Thalaivar 167 has cinematographer Santosh Sivan and composer Anirudh Ravichander.
