Nita Ambani, wife of Mukesh Ambani, resigned from the Board of Directors of Reliance Industries Limited to concentrate on Reliance Foundation. The RIL Board has recommended the appointment of Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani to the Board of Directors.
This took place at the 46th Annual General Meeting. The Board of Directors appreciated Nita Ambani for her leadership of the Reliance Foundation as its Founder Chairperson.
The Board said that the appointment of Isha, Akash and Anant will help RIL to gain from their insights.The trio has already been closely involved with the company for the past few years. They are also on the boards of the key subsidiaries of Reliance Industries Limited.
