A night trek to Nijagal Betta, a hillock near Tumkur on the outskirts of Bangalore, is happening on April 22, 2016.
Organised by the Bangalore Mountaineering Club, the trek would start with the mud road and continue towards huge boulders that are ideal for rock climbing. Nijagal betta, also known as Siddara Betta, has ruins of ancient temples and forts. The hill also has a Hanuman temple and a dargha.
