The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) has come up with a new initiative called TIE Women. It’s sole aim is to encourage women entrepreneurs across the state. It has been introduced in Chennai to educate, monitor and create opportunities for women. It has partnered with empoWer, which is India’s first tech-based accelerator for women entrepreneurs.

Plans are on to conduct a global pitch competition and prize money of $100,000 will be awarded to the winner. The President of TIE, Chennai and also the founder of CavinKare, C.K. Ranganathan, called upon all women entrepreneurs to come forward to take part in the programme.
