Neetu Kapoor was one of the most sought after actresses in the 60s and 70s but she chose to take a break from Cinema after her marriage to actor Rishi Kapoor. Though she did take up a few Bollywood projects around 2009, she took a step back again when Rishi Kapoor’s health deteriorated. She lost her husband to Cancer in 2020 and has been trying hard to cope with the loss. The actress has now been roped in for the film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ that also has Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. Neetu Kapoor admitted that getting back to work was her way of dealing with her loss. She had joined the sets to start work when she tested positive for Covid and had to be quarantined but she bounced back in less than 2 weeks and is back at work now.
