Neeta Ambani, wife of the richest man in India- Mukesh Ambani has held several key positions in the Reliance Industries Group. She has now come up with a new venture, a social media and networking site exclusively for women on the eve of International Women’s Day. It is named ‘Her Circle’ and will be a safe platform for women. It will be a pioneer in the field of Health, Education, Industry, Finance, Donations, Mentorship and Leadership and will be of great help to women on the site. The platform will also connect women to experts in health, wellness, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, education, finance etc. Registration on ‘Her Circle’ is free and has been launched in English but will soon be expanded to include other languages. This is the first of its kind digital platform which aims to accelerate women’s empowerment and to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood globally by providing them a safe space for engagement, interaction and mutual support.
Neeta is the non-executive director of the management of Reliance Industries but is not directly involved in management. She holds key positions in Dhirubhai International School which is controlled by Reliance Industries. She also holds an important position in the Mumbai Indians- IPL cricket team. In addition to this, she is a part of theMetropolitan Museum of Art, the International Olympic Committee and the Reliance Foundation.
