The Cherian Foundation together with Ladies Circle India have donated 30 natural hair wigs to the Cancer Institute at Adayar. The wigs were distributed to the patients during an event. The Cherian Foundation has been conducting wig donation campaigns by collaborating with like minded organisations.
Their aim was to ensure that the wigs reached the patients to help them to regain confidence and motivate them to come forward for treatment. The hair donation drive started in April when members of the Ladies Circle India and their daughters aged 8 years and above came forward to donate their hair, a minimum of 10 inches. Noble cause indeed.
