Rajamouli’s ambitious multi-starrer titled RRR featuring NTR and Ram Charan went on floors in December, there were rumours that popular Tamil actor-director Samuthirakani will be essaying Charan’s uncle’s role in the film. Finally, in a latest interview, Samuthirakani has confirmed that he is part of RRR.
After watching his film Nadodigal, Rajamouli sir had sent the actor a long message. They have been in touch since then. Recently, the director had wanted him to play a key role in his upcoming film starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, he agreed instantly, The Visarani and Shambho Siva Shambho actor further added that Rajamouli had asked him to first listen to RRR’s script and then take a call on being part of the movie. Meanwhile, RRR’s second schedule is underway in Hyderabad for the last three days.
It has been rumored that Keerthy Suresh and Priya Mani have been roped in to play the female leads in the movie. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same. RRR is produced by DVV Danayya, is said to be made on an extravagant budget of Rs 300 crore. It is reported that the film has already made Rs 132 crore with the satellite rights.
