The online voting for the National Agenda Forum by the Indian Political Action Committee released the results of the top 10 priorities chosen by about 57 lakh online voters in 712 districts in the country. Women were chosen as the top priority, followed by protection of the interests of the farmers and to help them to become self reliant.
Other important factors chosen were basic education, adult education and village sanitation. The main aim for supporting education was to tackle ignorance, to acquire skills for employment and to broaden world view. Celebrities like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and M.S.Dhoni were identified as those who should play an active role in politics.
