Nani has shown the marked difference in portraying the two shades – of that class businessman and the street smart
youngster. Kudos to the Natural Star for attempting such unique subjects!
Actress Niveda Thomas has got meaty role and she is convincing in her role. Surabhi as lovable heroine is okay.
Srinivas Avasarala is superb. Vennela Kishore tickles the funny bone.
Manisharma has returned to movie scene after a long time and he has given couple of good melodies. His background score in particular is perfect.
Indraganti showed his mark, both as a writer and director. In fact, He has outdone his fast films with ‘Gentleman’ by
exploring a new angle. His command on the script and the way he blended comedy-thrills should be applauded.
Overall “Gentleman” is a mixed bag. Surprising interval bang, some good suspense elements in the second half, comedy by Vennela Kishore and more importantly Nani’s performance have worked out well.
