Conrad Bengaluru is all set to celebrate Nadodi cuisine at the hotel that is analogous to the ever-evolving food of the nomadic cultures. Nadodi which means ‘Nomad’ or ‘wanderer’ in Tamil and Malayalam draws inspiration from the comforting, unique flavours and ingredients that South Indians who have settled in the Malay Peninsula and Singapore, have contributed to the region’s culinary diversity. The team that started Nadodi- the progressive South Indian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur- Chef de cuisine, Sricharan Venkatesh, Head of Beverage Programme, Akshar Chalwadi and Praveen Shetty, Executive Chef, Conrad Bengaluru come together to offer culinary delights harnessed by contemporary techniques to retrofit age old traditional recipes with modernity. The team creating this unique menu has heralded a renaissance of thought – going back to the basics on which the nomadic tribes subsisted on- and rethinking the preparation and core presentation of the self-same ingredients to please the savvy and well-informed audience expectations of today. The festival’s menu highlights a course-by-course menu that builds anticipation with small bites, after which your epicural journey assuredly heightens and majestically crescendos to a peak aura that lingers after the meal is completed with nine courses.
Festival dates: 22nd to 24th August, 2019 for Dinner only at Conrad Bengaluru.
