Chairman of Reliance Industries (RIL) Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita have become proud grandparents. They welcomed the great grandson of Dhirubhai and Kokilaben Ambani. Their son Akash and his wife Shloka welcomed a baby boy on December 10th. Both the mother and son are doing well. The new arrival has made both the Ambani family and the Mehta family extremely happy. Akash is a director in Jio. He married Shloka Mehta at the Jio World Centre, Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai on March 9th 2019.
Both Akash and Shloka studied together at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Akash is the eldest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani and Shloka is the youngest of three children of Russell and Mona Mehta. The picture of Mukesh Ambani carrying his grandson has gone viral on social media. The picture was posted by Mumbai based photographer Manav Manglani and shows a smiling Mukesh carrying his grandson. The photo garnered more than 39,000 likes within 2 hours of being posted. Many people have sent in congratulatory messages.
