Mollywood actor who is now the Member of Parliament handed over a guava sapling that was gifted by a Jayalakshmi, a girl from Pathanapuram to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He tweeted, “Nurtured by a thoughtful young girl in a courtyard of Pathanapuram, all set to bloom in the residence of the Indian Prime Minister. Handed over the guava sapling presented by Jayalakshmi (on my visit to Gandhi Bhavan) to the @PMOIndia @narendramodi ji yesterday as promised.”
Jayalakshmi is the winner of the best student award titled ”Karshaka Thilakam” which she won for maintaining an organic farm in her backyard. Suresh Gopi added, “The PM accepted it wholeheartedly and assured to have it planted in his official residence. Connect with the people; Age: no bar, Caste: no bar, Status: no bar.”
