The All India Working Women’s Forum held it’s third National Convention and eminent women from all over the country took part in the event. Notable among them were Member of Parliament Kanimozhi and AICC spokesperson Kushboo Sundar who addressed the gathering.
Over 700 women attended the event held at Raja Annamalai Mandram’. Kanimozhi said that she hoped to see increased numbers of women in Parliament and if not 50 percent, women should at least have 33.3 percent which is the bare minimum representation. Kushboo requested the women to work together and asked women to register complaints in the #MeToo movement at the earliest without delay and fear.
