Now that Harry and Meghan are in Canada, the question of their security and who will foot the bill has become an issue. A majority of Canadians in fact 77 percent of them believe that the taxpayers money should not be used to pay for their security as Harry and Meghan are not in Canada as representatives of the Queen.
However there has been no official announcement about the question of security or who will cover the bill. The authorities have indicated that discussions are going on. More than two thirds of Canadians feel that the privacy of the royal couple and their infant son will be better respected in Canada than it was in Britain. Meanwhile Harry and Meghan are taking no chances. They issued a legal warning to the media over pictures taken of Meghan walking her dogs with son Archie without their consent.
