Puli Murugan, directed by Vysakh and starring Mohanlal in the title role, has reportedly run into a spot of trouble. The film is being shot in the forests of Pooyamkutty and a resident of Pooyamkutty has allegedly filed a petition seeking to stop the shoot on account of damage to the forest ecosystem because of the use of
plastic and rubber to construct the sets. The Kerala High Court has ordered the Malayattoor District Forest Officer to look into the matter.
