The Megastar joined Aashirvad Cinemas to celebrate the National award
It was indeed a day of celebration for Aashirvad Cinemas and team Marakkar as the National Film awards were announced yesterday. Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Aashirvad Cinemas bagged the award for the best feature film along with awards for Best Special effects bagged by Priyadarshan’s son, Siddharth Priyadarshan and Best Costumes by Sujith Sudhakaran and V. Sai. Mohanlal took to social media to share images of the celebration.
He wrote, “Hearty congratulations to all the National Award winners.
Happy and elated to hear the fantastic news….’Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham’ – (Marakkar – Lion of the Arabian Sea) has bagged the National Award for best feature film. My Congratulations to “Team Marakkar” and the Captain of the ship Priyadarshan for this honour. My sincere thanks also to all who supported us on this labour of love. I join Aashirvad Cinemas in celebrating this award and dedicate it to the glory of the Indian Navy.”
