Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be conferred with the highest civilian award, the”Order of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First”. He will be conferred with the award for his work on bilateral ties by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Modi is said to have made a distinguished contribution to the development of a strategic partnership between Russia and India and friendly ties between the people of both countries.
Modi while thanking Putin for the honour conferred on him, said that cooperation between India and Russia had led to extraordinary outcomes and that it was due to Putin’s leadership that bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two nations had scaled new heights.
