Bhasha Mukherjee the winner of the title of Miss England in 2019 is a junior doctor. She is said to be hanging up her crown in order to work on the frontlines to fight against the virus. Originally, she put her medical career on hold to travel across the globe to do humanitarian work.
However she felt that it didn’t seem right to continue wearing the Miss England crown while all her colleagues were risking their lives and treating coronavirus patients. She returned home and plans to get back to work. Right now she is self isolating for one or two weeks before she can get to work. She is a specialist in respiratory medicine and she felt that this is the time to hang up her crown and help England in this time of need.
