Formula One legend Michael Schumacher is said to be in a vegetative state with little chances of recovery according to a leading neurosurgeon Erich Riederer. It may be recalled that the 7 times Formula One champion had a devastating skiing accident in the French Alps in 2013 which left him with severe brain injuries.
Schumacher is said to be breathing, his heart is beating but he is not responding. His wife, kids and nurses are doing their best to help him recover. He was put into a medically induced coma for 6 months for the surgeries to set right the brain injuries. He is currently in his home at Geneva. It is said that he recently underwent stem cell therapy for his nervous system. We hope and pray that this world champion recovers at the earliest.
