Meghan Markle created history as she became the first Modern Royal to vote in a US election. The whole country is eagerly awaiting the results of the election to see if Biden or Trump makes it to the White House.
Although the 39 year old actress is a citizen of the United States, there were some doubts as to whether she could cast her vote as Queen Elizabeth’s royal guidelines do not allow it. The Royal Family is not even allowed to publicly express their opinions on political matters and are supposed to maintain a position of political neutrality. However, Meghan felt that the right to vote was her fundamental right and so she went ahead and voted.
