Prince Harry and wife Meghan received a standing ovation during one of their final official events. They were the guests of honor at the Mountbatten Festival of Music at Royal Albert Hall in London. Both were dressed in red. While Harry wore a Royal Marine Officers red mess jacket, his wife was attired in a red designer dress. The music festival marked the 75th anniversary of the end of the second world war and the 80th anniversary of the formation of Britain’s Commandos.
The festival brought together world-class musicians, composers, and conductors. The proceeds of the event would go to the Royal Marines Association, the Royal Marines Charity and CLIC Sargeant which supports people under 25 who have cancer and their families. They will next join the Queen and the entire royal family for the annual Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey to mark Commonwealth Day. This would be the first time that the entire royal family would be seen together since Harry and Meghan announced their decision to step down from royal duties.
