India’s Mary Kom clinched an unprecedented fifth gold medal at the ASBC Asian Confederation women’s boxing championships at Ho Chi Minh City.She defeated North Korea’s Kim Huang Mi,the five time World Champion in a unanimous 5-0 verdict to add another medal to her Kitty.
This is Mary Koms first international gold medal since the 2014 Asian Games Her previous gold medals had come in 2003,2005,2010 and 2012.An elated Mary thanked her coaching staff who worked with her for the last few months.
