Manager clarifies that Emma Watson is not retiring from acting

Emma Watson, the star of Harry Potter has not been active on social media for some time. This seemed to fuel rumours that she is retiring from acting. Numerous fans flooded social media with requests to Emma not to quit acting. This made her Manager clear the air and confirm that Emma has no plans to retire. Her Manager Jason Weinberg stated “Emma’s social media accounts are dormant but her career isn’t.”


There was a report in Daily Mail which claimed that the actor is stepping back from the limelight to settle with her boyfriend Leo Robinton with whom she is in a relationship for a year and a half. The portal had quoted a source saying “Emma has gone underground, she is settling down with Leo. They’re lying low. Maybe she wants a family.”
Emma was last seen in Little Women in 2019. She played the role of Meg March in the film that was directed by Greta Gerwig. She was earlier seen in The Circle and the live-action version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. She shot to fame with the Harry Potter film series based on author JK Rowling’s books. The series was made into a blockbuster film which had Daniel Radcliffe playing the lead role supported by Emma and Rupert Grint.
Now that her Manager has cleared the air that Emma has no plans to retire, her fans can heave a sigh of relief.
