A man who was running a women’s hostel in Nanganallur was arrested by the Adambakkam police for fixing spycams to spy on the activities of the inmates. The man named Sanjeev alias Sampath Raj is from Tiruchi.
The hostel inmates became suspicious as the owner kept on doing frequent spells of renovation. Using an app to detect hidden cameras, they found cameras on the switch boards, and on the walls of the bedrooms and bathrooms. The cameras have been removed. The owner Sanjeev has been arrested and lodged in Puzhal jail.
