Mahendran played the younger version of Vijay Sethupathi in the recently-released Master and won hearts. The actor has been roped in to play an important role in Dhanush’s upcoming film with filmmaker Karthik Naren. Tentatively titled D43, the film features Malavika Mohanan as the female lead.
The producers of the film, Sathya Jyothi Films, took to Twitter to announce the same. The team shared a picture of Mahendran with director Karthik Naren and captioned it, “Welcoming the super talented @Actor_Mahendran on board for #D43.”
