The moment you enter the premises, a courteous security guard will receive you with warmth and as per the training imparted, your temperature will be taken with contactless infrared thermometer and Arogya Setu mobile application status will be checked. As you proceed to the baggage scanner, before entering the lobby, your footwear and luggage will be sanitised. You can disinfect your hands with the automatic sanitiser dispenser. For everyone’s safety and to maintain social distancing, there are signages placed depicting handshake-free zone, self-parking, restricted gathering of people, usage of masks and sanitiser at relevant touchpoints.
Pedal sanitiser is placed outside Chez Nous and at the entrance they have an automatic sanitiser dispenser.
Lobby: After the baggage scanning, you will enter the lobby which has communication regarding the safety measures to be taken by everyone. There are floor decals and queue managers which help in keeping safe distance, Accor’s ALLSAFE stickers for assurance, Perspex sheet at the reception for everyone’s safety and a very compassionate team to welcome you.
Check-in and check-out process require minimal contact and the pens used along with the key cards and credit cards are thoroughly sanitised after every usage. Digital payment options are also provided.
Post the check-in procedure, you receive a welcome kit along with a letter which mentions the safety measures and an in-room dining QR code which will help you view the menu and select your favourites.
The staff will guide you towards the elevator which has demarcation to allow only two guests at a time for social distancing. The elevators are regularly sanitised as they are frequently used by the guests. Assistance with luggage or delivery to the room is available on request.
At the time of check-out, you can drop your keys in a box placed at the reception, from where they are taken for sanitisation.
In-room experience:
There is a door seal sticker placed on the room door once it has been thoroughly cleaned to assure that it was sanitised and sealed before the guest’s arrival. To minimise contact in the room, they have kept only essential amenities and disposable products. You can order your favourites from the comfort of your room from the single use menu cards and it will be delivered at your doorstep.
After every check-out there is a gap of minimum 24 hours before the room is sanitised and freshened up for next arrival. The staff uses fogging machines to disinfect the room while wearing PPE for safety.
Restaurant:
The operational restaurant at the hotel has its furniture and layout realigned to maintain social distancing norms. There is a pedal operated sanitiser stand right at the entrance and entry and exit points are marked. You can explore the menu through QR code placed at every table and for payment also as various digital options are provided.
The front and back of the house team members adhere to the safety guidelines and are always there to serve you with the best gourmet delights. All the food handlers’ temperature is checked regularly, multiple contacts while food handling is avoided, and social distancing is always maintained.
Food safe sanitising agents are used in the kitchen and each meal is freshly prepared. Cutleries are dipped in sanitiser solution and dried in the dishwasher itself to avoid wiping. Single serve products like ketchup, salt, etc. are served only at the guest’s request.
The menu is sustainable and is very much in line with ‘vocal for local’. The chefs are exploring more local and healthy ingredients for the newly developed menu keeping guest’s demand in mind. Right from the selection of ingredients to the plating, the team follows stringent safety protocols to deliver wholesome and delicious meals.
