Taj MG Road, Bengaluru unveiled its all-new look after a major renovation to represent a reimagined, redesigned and renewed hotel. INR 100 crores was invested to upgrade the hotel to a Taj branded hotel. The extensive renovation was done over a period of 21 months. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL and Manoj Mathew, General Manager, Taj MG Road, Bengaluru hosted a cocktail and dinner evening for the celebration of the hotel’s new look and feel. The new design pays tribute to the Garden City of Bengaluru with its British colonial design. Puneet Chhatwal said, “In keeping with our Aspiration 2022, IHCL has reimagined its brandscape and restructured its investments towards renovating key Taj hotels. This investment in its iconic Taj brand is to ensure we stay relevant for our ever evolving global travellers.
